Blue Wing Blues Festival at Tallman Hotel

Labor Day Weekend is traditionally considered the last weekend of summer, so what better way to cap things off than a little blues? Okay, how about a lotta blues? The Labor Day Weekend Blue Wing Blues Festival at Tallman Hotel is as cool as they come. You’ll definitely be singing the blues if you miss it. The Blue Wing Blues Festival is an annual three-day musical event held under the sycamore trees in the garden between the Blue Wing Restaurant and Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake.  Two bands play in the cool of each evening, with headliners among the top blues bands in the nation. During the first set, beginning around 6:15 PM, ticket holders are served a delicious barbecue dinner, with the headline performance beginning around 7:30 PM. Bands play on the raised veranda of the hotel. Many local companies and individuals help to sponsor the event.  Any health and safety protocols then in place for Lake County will be advised to ticket holders and enforced at the event. This year's event features the following: Friday: Ben Rice & His Band, Kara Granger & Band Saturday: Reds Blues Band, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats Sunday: Wendy Dewitt, Big Mo & The Full Moon Band
